A tribute to Argentina’s beloved tango, from the streets of Buenos Aires.

Enticing. Powerful. Captivating. A new show by Guillermo Paolisso, Rojo Tango captures the intimate rhythm, sound and feel of the Río de la Plata region of Argentina, including tango and its cousins milonga and candombe.

A Beautiful Live Show

Rojo Tango captivates audiences and takes them on a journey to discover the roots of tango, milonga, candombe and other key musical styles from Argentina. In duo, trio, quartet, and sometimes accompanied by dancers, Rojo Tango can be adapted for various settings. It is the perfect performance for a private event, theater, music venue, wedding or restaurant/bar.

Tango: A Musical Melting Pot

Tango is the soul of Buenos Aires. A multidimensional art form, tango encompasses music, dance, poetry and a lifestyle. It originated from a mosaic of cultures at the end of the 19th century including European polkas and waltzes, the Cuban Habanera, and African candombe and canyengue. Rojo Tango is bringing back the roots of tango with a modern sound.
